Compulsory insurance of employee from accidents during execution of labour (service) duties

Insurance of employee from accidents is a complex of relations on protection of the property interests of employee, to life and health of which damage was incurred during his execution of labour (service) duties.
The purpose of compulsory insurance of employee from accidents is providing property interests protection for employees, to life and health of which damage was incurred during their execution of labour (service) duties, by means of indemnity payment.
According to the Law, each employer should conclude insurance agreement of employee from accidents.
Insurance event – accident during execution of labour (service) duties (accident), which incurred to employee (employees) during his (their) execution of labour (service) duties as a result of harmful and (or) dangerous production factor impact, which caused production injury, sudden health impairment or intoxication of employee, resulted in ascertainment to him the degree of professional disability, professional disease or death, at circumstances provided by the Labour code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Sum insured is established in amount of not less than annual salary fund of all employees at the moment of agreement conclusion.
Insurance premium according to the insurance agreement is determined by parties agreement on a basis of insurance rate, established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Limits of insurance rates are differentiated by types of economic activity depending on a class of professional risk and personnel category:
- industrial personnel
- administrative-managerial personnel
- support personnel
